Also last week, I surprised my roommate Catarina with a girls date to an amazing restaurant called Boca in downtown Sarasota, recommended to me by my boss Debra. The food was amazing. I'm still thinking about the parmesan and truffle fries and my yummy strawberry cocktail topped with egg white. Great food and great company!
After dinner we headed over the road and watched a band play outside in a pavement restaurant. Of course we had key lime pie, it would be rude not to.
Saturday more eating and roommate dates ensued. In the morning we went to check out a couple of vintage shops in Sarasota, then found are way to the 'thrift stores'. We then went down to St Armands circle, this gorgeous town centre on a little island off the coast. Food again was delicious. I had chicken with plantain and we each had a coconut filled with non alcolholic piña colada. Now we drink everything out of the coconuts. Even orange juice in the morning haha.
Today at work we decided it was a good idea to dress the dog, Mai Tai, in tights. The result...
