An (overweight) suitcase and a dream 🎶

This is the first blog post of hopefully many to come, as I sit waiting to board my MCR-MCO flight in the departure lounge! 

Although this is the first post its actually kind of signifying the end... the end of many MANY months of planning with my head buried in a laptop. The countless hours trawling Roomster.com looking for a place to live, filling out visa forms and long winded trips on planes trains and er... ships.  

I can't say thank you enough to my parents, family and friends who have supported me and never let me believe that I couldn't do this! The ice queen finally cracked and I actually even got a bit tearful in the airport!

This post is of course also the start of what is hoped to be an amazing 18 months living and working in Florida. Can't wait to get started!
