Happy New Year (better late than never)
This morning, I ran into a friend I hadn't seen since before Christmas and he said 'What have you been up to lately?' and it suddenly dawned on me that so much has happened in the past two months (3 months?) since my last blog entry! Firstly, the WrenHouse design team visited the IAAPA convention in Orlando on 16th November. IAAPA is the 'International Association for Amusement Parks and Attractions' and is basically seen as the government body for the attractions industry. T

Christmas 2017 has come (very) early!
We're feeling so festive at apartment 308 that we couldn't stand it any longer and had to put our tree up already! Check out our video: It only seemed right that since we're only a couple of miles from the #1 beach in the USA we wanted a 'beachy' theme, and so took some shells and decorated them into additional ornaments for the tree! Putting up the tree wouldn't be complete without music... #friends #christmas #Sarasota

All work... and all play
Playing catch up with the blog again! I feel like although I've only been here a short amount of time, this place really feels like home. Everyone I have met have been so friendly, inviting and generous - it's been lovely to be welcomed into the Bella Grove family so warmly. Since my last post you'll be pleased to know my bug bites actually cleared up! Last week I hung out with Sohmer and her nieces and nephews, who are visiting from northern Florida for two weeks. We've been

Second week round up
I can't believe it's been another week! Time goes by so quickly. Last week was my first real exploring around Sarasota and surrounding areas. I have totally fallen in love with this place. Last Monday I took a walk around The Ringling, which is the stately home and gardens of prominent Sarasota figure, art collector and circus owner John Ringling. the venetian style buildings and rose gardens are stunning. Last tuesday was July 4th, and so we had an all day barbecue/ cookout
